- Anthony Serafini, science teacher, is the 2021 David Zemsky Teacher of the Year.
- Congratulations to Stephanie Tomuta, the recipient of the 2021 Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. She will receive $1,000 towards her post-secondary education at North Park University. The committee was very impressed with her aspiration to study education and become a teacher, her extracurricular activities including notable athletics, involvement in the Chem club, as well as her volunteer work as a Sunday school teacher.
- Niles West Varsity Gymnastics Team, Coach Adrian Batista, Coach Keith Mukai, Coach Ray Payne, and Coach Dalai Jamiyankhuu won the 2021 Sectionals at Hinsdale Central.
- We hope you will purchase a Niles West Community Cookbook as the funds raised are going to be a great help in supporting Dance Marathon's two 2021 beneficiaries: I Grow Chicago and the Niles Township Education Foundation. I Grow Chicago is an Englewood community center working to grow the neighborhood from surviving to thriving, by providing community connection, education, and opportunity. Locally, the Education Foundation provides D219 students and families in financial need with school supplies and covers other school-related expenses.
